We stopped in Blythe due to some car problems, at the repair shop next door they recommended this hotel. It was amazing. Very friendly and helpful office. The room was clean, comfy bed, microwave, fridge and coffee maker in the room. They even let us stay past checkout time while we waited for our car repairs to be completed.

My most QUIET hotel/motel in weeks - very low indoor and outdoor noise! Because Blythe has an old, over-dimensioned 6 lanes commercial main street hotel Magnuson is one of those few who are not right next to loud Interstate 10. This local street is very relaxed, no red-light is nearby and no one in Blythe speeds beyond 35 miles an hour. 3 separate buildings in a U-shape. 1 floor only, so only 3 steps from tge car to the room for all - no stairs and no neighbor above. Not always fully booked, which makes it more quiet. Room refurbished, everything good. Carpet, only a small bathroom window in the back. Pool in February not n use. The management does a good job and offered me late check-out for a fair fee. Blythe is not fancy, but a convenient stop half way from Arizona to LA. Recent name change, which has only advantages.

I have basically lived at this hotel for several years for work. I was surprised and a bit shocked and hurt when the owner told me I had a room during the busy time, and then he sold my promised room to the highest bidder. I was told I had to leave and that I could call him to see when he had a room for me. He said I could call him on Monday the 29th to see if he had a room for me... ya, because I'm going to call him on a Monday when I need a room to see if he has one for me? Long story short, I landed at the Days Inn. The rooms are comparable to the Magnuson, and I will save $500.00 a month staying at the Days Inn. Plus, the Days Inn have a functioning pool and jacuzzi, free breakfast, and a decent small town hotel gym for 75.00 a night (if you're a rewards member). In addition, you're closer to town, which means more amenities within walking distance, and the Days Inn provides reward points, which allows those on a cash per diam to save even more money. Bottom line, a construction worker can save way more per diam and have a comparable if not better room and amenities by staying at the Days Inn. The best part of Magnuson was Miss Lettie. David, the owner, has changed, and it's really uncomfortable to be around him now. He's kinda a lost sunken soul of himself. Kinda sad. But his demons have made the place a bit depressive and uncomfortable to be around. If you're a construction worker, dont waste your money. We're all hanging at the Days Inn near the Bar-B-que next to the filled and clean pool and jacuzzi. Your welcome to join the party.

Bathroom was not clean. Deceiving online photo of hotel. And Its a motel. And not as nice as presented. And the entrance, as well as parking lot area is not pleasant. Negative: ""

We reserved via booking dot com, and cancelled within 5 minutes and made a second reservation for a larger room. We got charged for both. Magnuson didn’t care and booking didn’t care. We were turned down by Magnuson even when we presented proof and turned down by booking. Well, never again.|Also, overpriced poorly run hotel.

Stopped here when my car broke down in June. This is no "2 star" hotel! This is top-notch friendly service and comfortable clean rooms! The fellow that checked me in even gave me a complimentary snack pack and informed me about the nearby mechanics. I would consider staying here just for fun, the lady in the morning was super nice too!

The room was explained as brand new. So we didn't mind spending $140.00 per night. It was not as expressed. Toilet had been used not flushed ,bathroom floor had dirty spots , heat lamp over shower didn't work. There was 3 adults ,so we had to request extra towels on the first evening. The second evening , no extra towels were left for us. Toilet ran and made a slamming noise all night long !
